An exquisite apartment in a perfect location for those who want to explore the city without any plans or concerns. Lovers of movement and city life will love this friendly and refined penthouse, situated in the heart of the city of Funchal. Its interior space has been used at its best, in order to offer the comfort paired with a modern and careful decoration, that will meet your expectations. The apartment has a bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower and an small equipped kitchen. From the small balcony you have a privileged view of downtown architecture and the Cathedral Tower. The property is fully prepared to make you feel at home! THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Guests have easy access to several restaurants (there is a small cafe just outside the building), shops, shopping centre and supermarket. This flat is situated very close to the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic centre of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town. (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...) Barreirinha Beach is about twenty minutes' walk away, where you can relax and dip into the crystal clear waters of the island. GETTING AROUND Although a aerobus bus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within four minutes walk distance from the flat, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get there. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the flat. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always at your disposal to help or to answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax. HOUSE RULES We want you to feel right at home! Thank you for respecting the neighbours and for not smoking inside the properties.

Positive: Nothing Negative: FAA Rentals 31 de Janeiro was extremely disappointing, and we left the property the same day for our safety and comfort. The apartment did not match the listing, and several issues made it completely unsuitable, especially as I am pregnant. The sofa shown in the photos had been replaced with a very low sofa bed. It was uncomfortable, offered no support, and had no armrests, which made sitting and standing very difficult for me. The kitchen table and TV stand were chipped and damaged. There was also an ant trap placed in the corner of the room, which raised concerns about hygiene and cleanliness. The listing stated that the apartment included an iron and ironing board, but none were provided. There was only an empty box in the cupboard where the iron should have been, and there was no iron in the communal washroom either. The bathroom was dirty, and there was a strong sewage smell that made the apartment unpleasant and unhygienic. The bed was also very low and again not suitable for my mobility or comfort. The most worrying part of our experience was a security incident in the lobby. A young man approached us, said he did not work there, then went upstairs. When he returned, he asked if we had checked into 4B as he had just come from being inside our apartment. This made us feel unsafe and created serious concerns about unauthorised access. Due to the poor condition of the apartment, the lack of hygiene, the missing items, and the security concerns, we felt we had no choice but to leave immediately. I contacted the company and spoke with Tiago. He was extremely dismissive and did not address any of our concerns. He provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This experience was far below expectations, and the listing did not accurately represent the apartment. I hope these issues are taken seriously to protect future guests.

The Apartment was nice and clean. Even the kitchen has for a rental a lot of options and tools. The Location is perfect, 3min walk to the Harbor and 1min walk to a lot of Stores, Restaurants and more.

Location is great, walking distance from most places, bus terminal just around the corner. Fully automatic access, fully equipped, cleaning service, good wifi, online support (though a bit slow). It is smaller than it seems from the pictures, I cannot imagine three people share the place. For one, or two in love, it is perfect:) Ill happily come again to spend some more home office at Madeira;)
