Situated in a quiet residential street in Garajau, this apartment is ideal to relax in with a nice garden and sea view. It is just about 10 minutes by car from Funchal centre and it is also conveniently located for visiting other parts of the Island. This apartment is located in Garajau, 10 minutes by car to city centre of Funchal and accommodates 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed and the other with 2 single beds. It has 1 bathroom and a garden with hammock chairs to relax in the sun. The apartment is big and fully equipped with all modcons - dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, TV plus free wireless internet and a free-parking space. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Renting a car at the airport is probably the best option to enjoy the freedom of discovering the Island on our own and returning to a quiet apartment with a private garden at the end of day. Relaxing in Garajau wondering its residential streets, going to the beach or reading a book in your own private garden are also some of the privileges of staying in this area. Peaceful place. GETTING AROUND To get from/to airport, you can ask us to arrange a taxi transfer with our local and trustworthy partners. Cheaper that the airport taxis! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the property. GUEST INTERACTION We are always available for any concern you may have. Feel free to contact us through our local numbers or email. We will try our best to accommodate your needs! All informations on the info board at the entrance of the property. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All necessary linens and towels are provided. A cot, high chair and baby's tub can be arranged if necessary. We have a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and an anti-fire blanket on all properties. ATTENTION We inform that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz. All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee. HOUSE RULES We love to make our guests feel at home! Please respect the neighbors. Smoking not allowed inside the properties.

Place was lovely, got what was expected from the pictures. Would definitely recommend and go back. The house is very big and comfortable, the are is beautiful. Very clean and tidy with all equipment provided. Loved the access to closed parking as well. Communication was excellent, we couldn’t find the bin area and they responded asap. Instructions are also very clear when you check in and check out. We only had two points that I might consider somehow negative. - Cristo Rei can’t be seen anymore from the balcony sadly, there is a tree in the middle of the view. Beautiful view in any case, so wasn’t a major loss. - They had some ants on the kitchen, so we had to keep everything in the fridge or they would get to our food. But I used to live in Spain so this is unfortunately common in warmer climates. It wasn’t a major setback. Dishes were also a bit dusty so had to wash before use. Overall great experience, I would definitely go back as mentioned.

Nice property but it’s definitely seen better days. On the plus side, the apartment is spacious, has covered parking and has newer, well-functioning appliances. On the downside, the back porch floor was covered in water as there was an old seal in the window. The bathroom door/lock combo was hanging on by a single loose screw. One of the sliding doors wouldn’t lock properly so maintenance had to come and fix it. The hallways of the building are crumbling a bit and detract from the overall appearance. I asked 2 or 3 times for a cutting board but received no reply. That was a bit frustrating as it shouldn’t be that hard to communicate with guests, especially over something fairly minor. I ended up cutting on the counter as there was no cutting board in sight. Other than this, we had a fine stay. However if we were to come back to Madeira, I think we’d choose a spot right in Funchal.
