Totally refurbished to welcome you, its entire space was designed for your comfort and well-being. The modern and careful decoration is in tune with the historical streets that surround this city building. With a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom and a generous open space, this apartment is perfect to discover the charms of Funchal. The house is fully equipped and has all the amenities to make you feel at home. THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA This house is located in a privileged central area, right in the heart of the city of Funchal. At 15 minutes walking distance from the Lavradores Market and the Old Town of Funchal, from here you can explore on foot the several touristic points of our beautiful city (e.g. Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Sé Catedral, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...) TRANSPORTATION With a bus stop in the vicinity (five minutes away), transport will not be a problem for our guests. For departures and arrivals from the airport, there is an aerobus stop about seven minutes from the house, although the best option to reach the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport! GUESTS ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the apartment. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always available to help or answer questions. Contact us through our cell phone numbers or email. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. OTHER REMARKS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability. - All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket at all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. Well appointed apartment centrally located in Funchal. Managed an 2 hour earlier check in after badgering the management company. Everything spotlessly clean and everything works. couldn't be more central in Funchal so everything easily walkable. Also has a lift if you are travelling with lots of luggage. As nice as the apartment was it is compromised by the almost constant traffic and building noise during daylight hours. The one lane, one way road is a cut through to the main road Ave Arriaga and the noise of cars is amplified by the narrowness of the street and the height of the buildings on either side. There is also building renovation work going on to a building on the other side of the road six days a week. Only other down point was a perceived lack of privacy when windows and curtains are open as building opposite can almost see directly into the apartment's lounge area.

The apartment is super central downtown, in the middle of everything. Check-in & Checkout was very simple. On the second floor you got a waschine Maschine & dryer which is shared by all the other apartments in the house, so you sometimes need a good time to wash & dry. No worries about the sound & noises, with closed windows you hear nothing. AC climate is top

El apartamento está tal y como aparece en las fotografías. Quizás el nuestro un poco más pequeño. Todo el mobiliario nuevo y de buen gusto. Cocina perfectamente equipada y todo muy limpio. Nada de ruido, buena insonorización. Quizás un solo juego toallas para 6 noches es poco. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

+ reasonable sized apartment for 2 people with lift access + plenty of hot water all the time + bed reasonably comfortable + Good city location close to restaurants, supermarket and other shops + Fast & competent response from Managing agent to rectify minor deficiencies after our arrival But: - Uninspiring view across narrow street to abandoned properties - Settee/bed in lounge uncomfortable to sit on as the seat slips outwards - Poor quality chinaware just plain white, heavy and too few items. e.g.just 2 wine glasses; 2 medium mugs so always washing up! - Kitchen cupboards sited too high; wife unable to reach items on top shelves - insufficient small tables for use beside bed and in lounge - big negative: guests in ground floor Italian restaurant talking/laughing each evening until past midnight - another negative: Restaurant staff started at 07:00 to layout tables and chairs with much scraping on pavement and loud talking between them!
