GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - We inform that a Municipal Tourist tax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee. - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. RULES We want you to feel at home. We do not ask for more than respect for neighbours and care for the property, in addition to not smoking inside the house.

Nach der Landung begrüßte mich eine Whatsapp-Nachricht des Checkin-Kontaktes für Absprachen. Geplant hatte ich mit viel Puffer und dank Whatsapp ist der Checkin dann frühzeitig erfolgt. Man zeigte uns den Parkplatz in der doppelt (Tor zum Gelände und Tor zur Tiefgarage) gesicherten Tiefgarage. Die Wohnung macht einen großzügigen Eindruck mit sehr großer Dachterasse. In der Küche sind Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Toaster und Waschmaschine uvm vorhanden. Spülmaschine fehlt leider. Salz, Spülmittel und Waschmittel stehen bereit. Zur Hälfte des 9 tägigen Aufenthaltes erfolgte ein Handtuchwechsel sowie eine Leerung der Mülleimer. Wäscheständer und Wäscheklammern stehen ebenfalls bereit. Was fehlt ist definitiv die Klimaanlage. Sowohl von außen als auch durch Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank wärmt sich die Wohnung tagsüber auf 26°C auf und kühlt nur langsam mit Ventilator auf 23-24°C ab. Weiter ist der kleine Durchlauferhitzer mit langer Zuleitung von der Küche schwierig beim Duschen. Auf der Nachbarterasse sind drei Hunde, die stundenlang vor der Tür stehen und bellen. Hier konnte der Vermieter nichts machen. Aber wir haben uns nicht viel auf Terasse aufgehalten, da es hier keine Gelegenheit zum Essen etc gab und wir sonst nicht viel in der Wohnung waren. Der Kontakt per Whatsapp und Mail war tagsüber geprägt von Reaktionszeiten <30 Minuten. Eine leider notwendige Türöffnung (Schlüssel steckte von innen) erfolgte 5h nach der Info, was kein Problem war, da wir außer Haus waren. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe. Der Sandstrand mit etwas Kies im Wasser ist etwa 1,5km entfernt, jedoch mit starken Höhendifferenzen. Fazit: Wir würden hier wieder buchen, jedoch hat die Wohnung auch viel Verbesserungspotential.

It is a fantastic apartment, located in an extremely convenient location. Bus is regular and cheap, supermarket very close, lots of different types of restaurants, easy walk to beach area. Only complaints, lots of bugs in area, so pack all types of repellent or you will get bitten alot; and several cockroaches came up drain in bathroom.

Superbe appartement situé dans l'ouest de Funchal près de la promenade du Lido à environ 3 km du centre ville. Quartier calme avec pas mal de restaurants et bars tout de même (et un centre commercial). L'appartement est conforme à la description, spacieux, lumineux et bien équipé. La terrasse est immense mais peu exploitable car avec beaucoup de vis à vis. Il manque éventuellement une climatisation mais c'est le seul bémol.
